Bio
Uchenna, an energy broker from Houston, TX, participated on the Race with his wife, Joyce. His primary motivation for participating in the Race with Joyce was to regain some of the closeness they had lost during their trying times – both had worked for bankrupt and scandal-filled companies. Competitive and extroverted, Uchenna enjoys basketball, scuba diving and horseback riding.
Even though they arrived last during a non-elimination leg just before the last leg of the Race and were stripped of all money and belongings except for the clothes on their backs, they managed to persevere and get to the mat first - winning the $1 million prize.
Uchenna and Joyce want children and have hinted that if they won the Race they would use the prize money for additional in-vitro fertilization procedures.
