Tramel, a student at Indiana University when he applied for The Amazing Race with his sister Talicia, was excited at the opportunity to travel with his sister and compete for $1 million. Although he had limited travel experience and joked that he thought he was going on "Survivor," he felt his strong relationship with his teammate and his ability to work well under pressure would lend him an advantage. Although eliminated in the second leg, Tramel says it didn't affect his relationship with Talicia - " I love my sis; no show changes that."
