Sa'eed Rudolph
Bio
Sa’eed, a father of two from Cleveland, Ohio, works as a power lineman. A self-starter, Sa’eed has served in the military allowing him to travel to such places as the Philippines, China, Japan and Morocco. Sa'eed and his best friend and Race partner, Bilal, play football and basketball together in their spare time.
Applying for the Race was something Bilal, had wanted to do for quite awhile. Bilal originally put in an application with another individual but when they backed out towards the end of the interview process, Sa’eed was called in to replace him. One of Sa'eed’s first and foremost concerns was incorporating their Islamic beliefs into the Race. As you saw in the SeaTac airport in Seattle, they stopped and made their observance of midday prayer.
Sa'eed knew there would be extra eliminations, but was disappointed they happened so early on in the Race. He says the most touching moment he had throughout the whole Amazing Race experience was to see how many teams were upset about their elimination. "To see that kind of response and know we had that kind of an impact really affected my heart."
