Ryan Phillips
Bio
Ryan is from Landrum, South Carolina, is married with one son, and loves to play the bass guitar. He and Chuck are lifelong friends who enjoy riding motorcycles together and were on the Race to enjoy the adventure and travel the world. Until they competed on the Race, they had never traveled outside the US together, but have made many trips together within the US. Ryan knew the moment he thought about applying for the Race that the only one he'd want to do it with was Chuck. He said the two of them are just "common everyday people from America that we need to represent." Although they were eliminated first from the Race, he was proud that they had beat so many other teams just being selected for the Race. He knows that he and Ryan are going to do something else "big" together and that they'll be friends for life.
