Reggie competed in the Family Edition with his wife and two of their sons. Reggie and Kimberly met in university, and have been married for over 17 years. He studied mathematics, and works as a high school teacher. Before the race, he described himself as calm and competitive, which was an accurate description of his racing style as he worked hard while encouraging and supporting his boys.
