Norm met his wife Hope in July of 1983, as they both embarked on their junior year in college. After playing it cool for a month, Norm finally asked Hope out, and they dated for three years before getting married. Norm is a devoted father of two boys. He loves competition, adventure and a good challenge. Patient and kind, Norm's good communication and listening skills, as well as his physical strength, were his greatest assets on the Race.
