Mirna, an attorney from Towson, Maryland, was born in Armenia. She and her cousin and Race partner, Charla, were born in the same hospital in Syria, one month apart. Mirna immigrated with her family to the United States when she was a young child.
Mirna graduated from the University of Maryland School of Law at age 23, the youngest in her class. She describes herself as competitive, strong-willed and ambitious and some of her favorite activities include running and cycling. She is also an avid blackjack player.
Mirna notes that going into the Race she and Charla decided what their strengths and weaknesses were. Charla was the stronger eater and Mirna was hopeful she could do the more physical challenges.
The team Mirna thought they got along best with on the Race was the Bowling Moms.
After the Race, Mirna returned home and continues to work as an attorney. Recently married, Mirna and her husband, Greg, enjoyed their honeymoon in Maui.
