In his mid 20s when he applied for the Race, Josh was a computer technician and living in Los Angeles. He described himself as "different, free and happy" and said that there's no such thing in life as "too much music."
Josh says that he applied for the Race simply because "it sounded like a gas." He most enjoyed the trip around the race track at LeMans and, even though it's where they were eliminated, he loved France. The toughest part of the Race for him was "coming home a loser.......all I did for the first month back was second guess my decisions in France."
His best memory of the Race is "spending time with my pops." In fact, the most positive outcome of the Race was that he "grew a bit closer with my father." He says that during the Race, he got to see a side of his father that he never saw growing up: his dad is a tough, fierce competitor with no weaknesses.
Today, Josh lives in Santa Monica, CA where he is a comic book writer. His current self-assessment: "awesome, rad and badical." Josh is engaged and has two cats, Gozer and Gizmo. He enjoys "picking up girls on MySpace, and practicing my Dim Mak."
