We Say Goodbye to Margaretta

On October 6, 2008, Margaretta Groak passed away due to complications from cancer and pulmonary fibrosis. We got to know her thanks to her gutsy performance on Season 1 of TAR, but Margaretta enjoyed a life of adventure. She was a licensed pilot in America and Australia, where she explored everything from the opal mines to the outback. You can read more about her life and adventures in the Dallas Morning News.

The Amazing Race: All-Stars Finale
It's almost that time already -- The Amazing Race All-Stars Finale will air on Sunday, May 6, at 8 PM on CBS.  Three teams battle it out and sprint for the finish line and the $1 million prize.

All-Stars Cast Announced

This morning, the cast of the latest edition of TAR was announced on The Early Show. This time, we will see familiar faces as this edition has been dubbed "All-Stars" and features former racers from 7 of the previous 10 seasons. CBS also launched the official TAR11 website.

All-Stars Confirmed for Season 11

After the final episode of The Amazing Race 10, CBS ran a teaser for the next season, confirming that it is indeed an "all star" season, bringing back racers from previous seasons to compete again for the $1 million prize.

Teams have not yet been revealed by CBS, but reports indicate that the next installment is currently in production and will air in the spring, possibly premiering in February. 

 

Season 10 Finale - Welcome Final 3!

Episode 13 of The Amazing Race 10 led teams to Paris and then on to New York.  Before hitting the mat at the finish line in Garrison, NY, teams kept pace with each other through tandem skydiving and Paris fashion houses but, in the end, airport drama and the EZ Pass lane called the shots.  Tyler and James crossed the finish line first, with Rob and Kimberly close behind.  Shut out of the other teams' flight to NY, Lyn and Karlyn came in third, but still became the first female team to make it all the way to the end.

Welcome to Dustin & Kandice
Episode 12 of the Amazing Race took teams to Casablanca and Barcelona. A little camel meat, tossed tomatoes, and giant walking later, Dustin & Kandice were eliminated. Welcome to the family, ladies.

All-Stars News
E! Online published an article in which they state that CBS has confirmed that the 11th edition of The Amazing Race will be an All-Stars version. There's also a bit of speculation about which teams will be involved.

Welcome to Erwin & Godwin
Episode 10 took Racers to the Ukraine where they encounter a tank driving Roadblock and a music themed Detour. The Cho Bros had a tough time finding their way around and were eliminated. Welcome to the family, Erwin and Godwin.

Welcome to David & Mary
Episode 8 takes the Racers to Madagascar where they encounter a brand new Race device called an Intersection. This forces the teams to work together. The teamwork doesn't help David & Mary as they are unable to overcome being marked for elimination a second time. Welcome to the family, David & Mary.

Welcome to Peter & Sarah
Episode 7 of The Amazing Race 10 sent Racers to Kuwait City, Kuwait. Peter & Sarah were unable to recover from severe navigation problems and were sent to sequesterville...and the TAR Racers Alumni Association.
